I have been with Citibank, Milan Branch for an embarassing number of years (over 17...); none the less they still miss me!!
And so do I...(once a Citibanker, always a Citibanker!). Started in 1973 at Citicorp Leasing Int'l Inc. as the VGM Assistant, I moved to Citibank Treasury in 1976, as a jr. dealer. In 1982 I was appointed 'Treasurer' of the Domestic Money Market (the only female-treasurer in the whole Italian banking system), managing over Lit. 600 bln. liabilities. Later I moved to the FX markets (new financial products)with a 6-month stay in London, to complete my experience. In 1990 I finally shifted to a totally new job (Corporate Affairs Officer), and - one year later - I left the bank for a new challenge.
Since then I am the Head of the External Relations & Press Office Dept. at Servizi Interbancari - CartaSi (the most diffused credit card in Italy, with >830 partner banks, 7.5 million cardsholders and a 60% market share). In my position, I am also the Company's spokesperson and official representative.
