I left Citi in 1998. I was in the Advanced Development Group in California at that time.I had just completed 25 years......all over the world.....Beirut,Bombay,Calcutta,riyadh,New York, Caracas, London, Los Angeles in 25 years......career was split in two parts...first third was in the Financial Control function......later was in the Individual Bank (CSG....Consumer Bank...Retail....whatever you call it) with a brief stiny running a Task Force (remember them?) in 1992.
I started a Software Solutions and Services company.....I am currently its Chairman/CEO.....we have two Head Offices....one in Santa Monica (Ocean Park Boulevard...right opposite the old TTI offices) and one in Bangalore in India's Silicon Plateau. The company is called MphasiS.....its "emphasis" without the "e". We also have a BPO subsidiary called MSourcE.
We have Citi written all over MphasiS..........Rick Braddock is a director and an investor.......Yashiro-san and David Van Pelt are on our Advisory Board.........Rahul Bhasin represents ING Barings(an investor) on our board......Citi is a customer........ex-Citibankers are our customers.....in various parts of the world.....and we have loads and loads of ex-Citibankers in our senior management......my co-founder Jeroen Tas is a Citibanker
