I was with Citi for 13 yrs plus until end-2000, the last role being Head of Global Financial Messaging Operations & Technology based out of London. Just before that I headed the Development and Implementation of Global Interbranch, a re-engineering project borne of the GF-2000 Task Force headed by the then Corporate O&T Head and sponsored by the then Corporate Treasurer. I have always prided in John Reed mentioning this project in glowing terms in one of his Operating Committee meetings.

My Citi job has taken me to several countries around the world including Switzerland (where I provided consultancy to a FI for 2 yrs) and a number of short stints in places like Singapore and NY.

Currently, I am a full time Banking Advisor (domain consultant and more) to Wipro Technologies (NYSE:WIT). One of the subjects I am deeply engaged in now, given my background in O&T, is Operational Risk.

Hobbies: International Politics, Travel and some sports including Horse Racing.
