What I'm doing
>Hi Everyone! I thought I had achieved freedom when I left Citibank after 23 years in 2001, but now I have REALLY broken loose. I have set up my own business here in London, on which I started working full-time back in July 2003, and I'm having a ball!!!! Please get in touch and I can tell you a lot more.

I would love to work with any of you out there who are looking for help on improving revenue, service or quality in your businesses, and would, of course, give ex-Citibankers a very special deal.

I am the Co-Founder and a Managing Partner of Venturehaus (www.venturehaus.com), which is an advisory firm specialising in performance improvement within the operations of companies in service industries (this also includes the services activity of manufacturing businesses).

We are also interested in acquiring small services businesses where there is an opportunity for us to release additional value, not by using fancy accounting techniques, but by applying our fundamental operations management skills.

Many organisations get stuck when they start to be successful. They need to improve their Service Quality or Business Performance, but don t have the experience or resources to do so. Companies working with Venturehaus realise greater value from their businesses, by consistently achieving substantial improvements in customer satisfaction whilst increasing their business capacity or reducing their costs by 10% to 30%. Venturehaus delivers accelerated results from the set-up and/or transformation of operations for businesses which have significant elements of transaction processing within them (eg. customer acquisition and service, instruction processing, finance, accounts, and other administrative functions).

We have recently been endorsed by the British Quality Foundation as a provider of business improvement services to UK SMEs, but we also work with larger organisations too (corporates and public sector).

Prior to Venturehaus, I led the creation of a business consulting practice for IBM Business Consulting Services in the UK, specialising in business strategy, business transformation, and organisational change in the wholesale and retail financial services industries.

Before this, I spent 23 years with Citibank in UK, Austria, Jersey and Ireland, as well as some time in New York. Citibank Experience (1979-2001):
