Started in Citicorp in the corporate banking unit in Milan-Italy in 1994 and continued 'till 1997 when I joined the Italian launch of the Citibank Cards business.

Left Citibank in 2000 and joined First Data Merchant Services for the creation of several JVs in southern Europe.

Entered into Citifinancial Italy, where I became managing director, in 2003 and transformed the unprofitable Auto finance business into Citigroup's second largest and second most profitable Consumer Loan in the world.

Left Citifinancial in late 2006 to launch BBVA Finanzia (consumer finance business of BBVA Gruppo-Spain's second largest bank with over 100,000 employess worlwide).

Presently CEO of BBVA Finanzia and also Country manager of all the BBVA consumer activities in Italy which include the consumer finance company, Maggiore Fleet S.p.A. and also Intesa Rent.
