Joined Citi in 1981 in Melbourne, Australia as a trainee. This was before Citi became a bank in Australia. Went through the excellent training provided by Citi and before I left Citi Australia, I was the WWSS Head for Australia. I was posted to HK for 6 months and then Singapore for another 6 months as Asia Product Head for Sec Lending and Funds Administration, before I was headhunted by BTCo to establish their Master Custody business in Australia.
