I was Senior Counsel for the Payment Products Division (PPD) of Citibank starting way back in 1984. The PPD team developed the legendary WorldLink Service which, to paraphrase the equally legendary Albert Haddad, became Citibank's single most profitable product.
After leaving Citibank in 1999, I joined Metavante Corporation (formerly M&I Data Services) as their Senior Counsel reporting directly to the General Counsel. Metavante markets high tech services that enable financial services providers to initiate and process a broad range of financial transactions electronically, including through the Internet. My responsibilities primarily involved legal advice and support to senior management in corporate development, marketing, audit and operations.

But, in August, 2002, I got an offer I couldn't refuse. I am now Of Counsel to Lowis & Gellen, a medium size law firm in Chicago that has a growing corporate, commercial and financial practice, both in transactions as well as litigation.
