Joined Citi-UK in 1995 upon graduating from Berkeley.
Emerging Markets Capital/Markets, sindicated loans and financing in Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe (reported to Claudio Fantoni).
Left Citi-UK in 1996 - went on maternity leave in California and just couldn't make myself return to the polluted and sunnyless London.
In 1997 worked in private asset management firm in San Francisco doing equity and fixed income research.
In 1998 at the heat of dot.com boom joined Cisco Systems's Treasury department where I spent 6 glorious years - absolutely the best job I've ever had. Professionally, these 6 years were the most exciting, intellectually stimulating and rewarding.
Then spent 4 years as a Controller where I learnt the nuts and bolts of technology finance.
Currently, work in Enterprise Risk Management which became popular after banks financial meltdown.
I miss London as a city, but not Citi.
Would love to hear from anyone from those days...
