I am a 'Techi' and spent nearly 15 years with Citi.

Starting in October 1985 my goal was to lead the systems engineerung group and to migrate successfully COSMOS from VM/VSE to MVS. After some time ARt Flew took over the IT responsibility of the Private Bank not only in Switzerland but also in EMEA. We expanded the COSMOS capabilities and renamed it to MultiBranch System.

The MuliBranch System became the Private Banks IT system in EMEA.

Not only EMEA should benefit from the MB but also the Asia/Pacific region. The MB was ported to Singapore in 1995 and and at the end of 1996 Hongkong was also part of MB.

MB was the designated plattform for the US too. This was much more dificult not only technicalwise. ARt Flew left Citibank in 1998 and the reorganisation started.

Even several legal investigations took place over all these years, it was again tried to run the Switzerland Private Bank MB system in Germany.

I left Citigroup july 31, 2000 and work now for Kuoni Travel Ltd.
