Coming from Burgundy - Côte D’ Or, France - , I started at Citibank (CB) Paris on February the 1, 1969 at the age of 19th, and unfortunately had to end up my career on the 31.10.1999.

In May 1971 I’ve married Margrith, an x-Citibankering who, coming from Switzerland, was staying 1 year in Paris to learn (also) French. We decided to leave in Switzerland –Geneva at the first place and are now in Zurich for 25 yrs with our two daughters Fabienne - Dr. med. vet. - and Joëlle - Dental Hygienist - who did also worked 2-3 times for Citibank as Summer Students.

I’ve worked 27 yrs within the PBG (The “oldest” PBG staff as far as I know) and have spent 26 yrs in the International Securities Industry/Business.

I acted as Area Head – Sec’s Operation/Administration – for PBG-EMEA (UK-Jersey-Lux.-Italy-Fance-Manaco-Germany-Greece incl. NY for their Intl. Securities Positions) based in Zurich were we also centralised the PBG processing Operations under the well known Multibranch system-/concept we created. The last 2 yrs with CB, I headed the PBG Ops & Tech. Convergence and acted as Senior Analyst into our Planning Services Unit.

During these nearly 31 years I must say that net net I had a great time at CB. It was often very hard but always extremely challenging an interesting. I will always look back at CB as a huge family working for a same and unique Institution that CB was.

My promotions from PPS in 1973 to VP in 1986, my Dublin (1974) and NY (1980-1981) stays, my 20th, 25th and 30th anniversaries were great moments for me, my wife and two daughters always extremely worried and concerned too. Among some tasks, the Euro project and the Multibranch set ups for all those countries including S’pore, with all these colleagues from different businesses, cultures and concerns will always stay positively in my memory.

After some very interesting experiences at GAM (Global Asset Management -/ UBS Co) as Deputy Director and Head of Global Private Client Administration and as Senior Consultant within Marketing and Customer’s services in a Software Co “Profidata” (Portfolio Management System –AMIS- for Banks, Institutionals, etc). These days, I am looking for a new Challenge as Bank/Business coordinator or as Head of Global Securities Operations.

It is interesting to know that this Software Co was created 15 yrs ago by a former Citibanker and that I got the job through another Citibanker. The very same happened with GAM through Anita H. and the Private Clients Managing Director (UVF)

In other words, I must say that the Citibanker family and world will always be around us all the time and, this being reinforced by this great idea of these web’s site.
