Joined Citi in Hammersmith, London, in Oct 85 and hung on in various Consumer Services HR roles until the end of Dec 96. Was CHRO through the fun years from late 91 to the end of 93 when I managed to escape from Lewisham and return to Hammersmith.

Set-up my own HR Consulting and advisory business in Jan 97, Optimal Resources Ltd, until seduced away to join AXA's investment management start-up as Global Head of HR in April 98.

I am currently in the process of leaving AXA and will blow the dust off Optimal in a few months time to resume life as an independent.
