I spent 18 years at Citibank, from 1968 to 1985, in Germany, Italy and New York. My jobs were account officer, financial control, branch manager, wcg country head in Italy, department head in ibg new york.

I left the bank grateful for extraordinary experiences and learning and convinced of having always given my best in any of the jobs I worked in. I wanted a change outside the financial business and I joined the German group METRO as the Managing Director of their Italian Cash&Carry business; another great time, learning a complete new world and business.

In 1993 I set up my own company BERVAL Specialita' Alimentari; we are importing food specialties from several European countries and are selling them all over Italy to retailers, supermarkets, restaurants etc. It's great fun and will keep me busy for hopefully many more years to come.

I keep playing tennis, soccer, I love skiing. I am a Board member of the German School in Milan, it keeps me in touch with the world of young people.

I hope to be able to get in touch again through this vehicle with many of my Citibank friends of whom I have lost track.
