Summer and Italy hitting yet again! While your preferred webmaster will take a break, over at Xciti Italy last details are been ironed out for the meanwhile traditional international gathering in autumn. Rumors go that a well known John will participate. Merry Christmas and Happy 2010 to all fo you Xciti and not. Ex Citibankers gather for their traditional Xmas dinner Apart from Xciti.it there are other ex Citibankers in Milan who meet at least once per year for Xmas. As usual it was meeting ol' friends with tons of hugs, kisses and kolossal backslapping! Bravo PierFrancesco and Bucco and thanks for making this happen. Merry Christmas to all of you.
Venue was "La Tradizionale" near via Savona, Food ok, pics taken with low light with the Webmasters zPhone (sorry for the quality). Xciti.it new website
Now that looks like well done! And member Number 700 is: Ok, that occurred a while back in Feb but slight oversights may be foregiven! Xciti.it lunch It is a Milanese tradition to gather for lunch among us. Here some pics. Thanks to Maria Pierdicchi who served a dessert on the topic: "What role for ratings?" She should know being the regional head of S&P.
Some changes for Xciti.net! Happy 2009 to everybody out there! Time changes. Xciti.net is in its 8th calender year. A century for the Web. Excitibanker action is all over the place: On the Web and else. The Linkedin group that went life recently counts many more members than Xciti.net though having another target (Ex and Citibankers). And not everyone want to be on Linkedin (or MySpace or FaceBook for that matter). And that is the reason why Xciti.net is going to stay. Your nonintrusive little corner on the Web. The only change I will introduce is eliminating the mailing list. Most emails sent get bounced back will you for not well calibrated spam filters, full mailboxes or simply non valid email addresses. |
